Well in a nutshell Craft Addict is a small home run business based in the UK and came into existence in 2023 out of love for crafting and without sending you all to sleep with my back story I will keep it short as possible. 

My name is Clare and I have always loved being creative ever since I was a wee lass (oh so long ago) and I've enjoyed trying my hands at new crafts learning new skills and techniques, using different materials and although I would make gifts for family and friends or for myself and never had any intention of selling my creations.  I was always worried about ruining something I enjoyed doing by it becoming a chore but then the other side of me thought would I regret not even trying, in short I will lose nothing by trying, I still have a full time job so the bills would still be paid. So here we are starting my new venture.....

Trying to decide what to name my business that encompasses me as a person and as a company without being limited. 

As I have tried a lot of different arts and crafts there was not one thing I could narrow it down to and I jokingly used to say to people I think I have an addiction problem, then boom there it was the perfect name for my business Craft Addict; now I just needed to make it unique enough so that it wasn't mixed up with someone else's business so came the idea of adding the year I started preparing my website an taking things to the next level.   

I decided to start this website to mainly showcase my work and advertise items for sale which will link to the my shop on Folksy and also try my hardest to write a blog; not that I have any experience writing a blog but will give it a go. I also want to give the opportunity for those who view my website to provide feedback or ask questions.
